Statement of Faith
The Inspiration of the Bible. We believe the Bible to be the verbally inspired and only infallible Word of God. We believe that God preserved His Word perfect and inerrant in the Authorized King James Bible.
The person of God. We believe there is one God, who is Triune, existing eternally in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
The person of Jesus Christ. We believe in the virgin birth of the Lord Jesus Christ, in his vicarious and atoning death through his shed blood, in his bodily resurrection, in his ascension to the right hand of the Father, in his personal, premillennial return in power and Glory. I believe that Jesus is the Son of God, and God the Son.
The person of the Holy Spirit. We believe in the executive work of the Holy Spirit, His conviction of sinners, His execution of the new birth in salvation, and His enabling believers to live a consistent, godly, separated life.
The devil or satan. We believe in the personality of the devil, that he is the unholy ruler of this age, and the author of all the powers of darkness, and is destined to the judgment of an eternal justice in the lake of fire.
The fall of man. We believe that man was created in the image of God and by choice fell into sin and death. Hence, every person is sinful and under the condemnation to eternal judgement.
The salvation of sinners. We believe that the salvation of sinners is wholy of grace through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
The security of the believer. We believe that those who receive Jesus Christ as savior are eternally secure.
The doctrine of the church. We believe that the local, visible church is a congregation of baptized believers, practicing new testament principles, believing it's doctrines, observing its ordinances, propagating the gospel, and exercising it's atonomy.
The doctrine of heaven and hell. We believe in the eternal blessedness of the saved in heaven and the eternal punishment of the lost in hell.
We believe and hold to the historical baptist doctrine and distinctives and oppose the ecumenical, neo-evangelical, and charismatic movements of the present day.
We believe in the resurrection, personal, visible, pretribulation, premillennial return of christ, related events and of the great white throne judgement.
